Absolutely. My approach is gentle, inclusive, and suitable for anyone, whether you’re new to therapy or have experience prior.

First sessions are used to get to know each other and narrow in on why you have decided to seek out therapy. I will ask questions regarding your personal background and current situation in order to help me understand who you are as a person and how I can come alongside you. My hope in the first session is for you to feel comfortable, address your potential problem and goals, as well as a chance for you to get to know me and see if it feels like a good fit for you!

Each client is different in regards to determining the length of therapy. The number of session varies greatly depending on the client's need. I want therapy to be whatever is most helpful for you, so that may look like a couple months and for some it may looks like a year or longer. My hope is to create a long term relationship so that even when therapy services end, when life transitions or stressors come up in the future, you have the opportunity to reach back out!

Sessions for individuals are $150 per session and for couples $180 per session. I do not accept insurance, but can provide a “superbill” which is a document that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.

This is very common, and you still have options. A great first step is a free consultation to talk through your concerns and goals in more detail. The consultation can be done individually or with your partner.
If you’re ready to begin and your partner isn’t, individual therapy can be a helpful place to start. You can focus on your own needs, patterns, and goals while giving your partner the space to decide if and when they’re ready to participate. If they become open to couples therapy later, we can discuss the best next steps together.
